What it is:
A visually engaging assignment for an architecture class.
How it came to be:
This was an assignment for UW’s Appreciation of Architecture II class where we were instructed to take time to observe and tell a photographic story about a local building.
I chose to have fun with the editorial layout, trying to make it reminiscent of a travel brochure or an info board. The photos are my own, taken on a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 with a 75-300mm telephoto lens.
Feedback + further implications
I got an A on the assignment and was proud to see it shown in class as an example for others to follow. This is the first time I’ve combined my photography and design work, and I’m excited to do more!
