The Graduate Hotel
An assignment for an architecture class where I was able to leverage my interests in both design and photography.
The assignment I turned in
Why?
This was an assignment for UW’s Appreciation of Architecture II class where we were instructed to take time to observe and tell a photographic story about a local building.
I chose to have fun with the editorial layout, trying to make it reminiscent of a travel brochure or an info board. The photos are my own, taken on a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 with a 75-300mm telephoto lens.
Reflection
I got an A on the assignment and was proud to see it shown in class as an example for others to follow. This was an exciting first where I got to combine my design and photography work.
